Jeff Pierson is the rock-solid powerhouse of The Carl Motyka Band. With his stunning voice and dead-on, take-no-prisoners beat, Jeff is an entertainer who has captured the imagination of audiences in Western New York for the past few decades.

Jeff began playing drums in the early 1980's and gained inspiration from greats such as Jon Bonham, Niel Peart and Ian Paice. He quickly began performing professionally with the band Time Pirates, and by the 1990's had joined forces with Six Pak, and later Slickfriction. From 2001 to 2005 Jeff performed in the power trio Panic Button, and went on to perform from 2005 to 2007 with three time Buffalo Music Award nominees Outcold. In 2005, while with Outcold, Jeff was also nominated for Best Hard Rock Drummer. Jeff performed with Rock Bottom in 2008 and 2009 and now is the drummer for The Carl Motyka Band.
